Repaircare identified that customers were spending far too much on extended warranties and with appliances lasting longer there was a requirement for a cost effective reliable repair alternative. Subsequently, in January 2009 Repaircare launched their unique Fixed Price Repair.

Repaircare's exclusive fixed price repair product covers Cooking, Laundry, Dishwashing, Refrigeration and Floorcare appliances of any make, model and age.

The price quoted covers the total cost of the repair including the call out, an evaluation, parts & labour, a professional safety check and vat. No matter how long it takes or how many parts are required.The repair is guaranteed for 3 months

Useful Information Which Helps Towards A Speedy Repair?

It is important you provide both your email address and telephone number so that Repaircare can keep you updated on the position of your repair. When booking your fixed price repair it helps tremendously if you are able to give your appliance model number - finding your model number. It is also important to provide a detailed description of the fault and any other useful additional information (e.g. parking arrangements, accessibility to your property etc). This all helps towards us increasing the number of first time fixes and completed repairs within 10 working days.

Repaircare Service Providers

Repaircare offer UK coverage delivered by locally approved highly trained service engineer ensuring a quick response whatever the locality. Repaircare approved service engineer will call out on the agreed date and carry out the repair to your appliance. You will also be able to monitor the repair situation via the Track Your Repair facility see "Monitoring a Repair" below. If parts are required the Repaircare service engineer will contact you to arrange a new appointment date to complete the repair. It should be noted that unfortunately there are a handful of manufacturers whose parts are not easily sourced and in some cases these have to be obtained from abroad which will result in a delay in completing the repair.

Replacement Parts

As a Division of Connect Distribution Services Limited the UK's largest distributor and stockist of domestic appliance spare parts Repaircare has immediate access to a wide range of parts. Normally within 1 working day of his initial call out our service engineer will order the part(s) and subject to availability we will source the part(s) to him within 2 working days. He will then contact you to arrange a suitable date to fit the part(s) and complete the repair.

Repaircare service engineers only fit brand new, high quality manufacturer approved parts. However, the manufacturer, appliance type, model, age and actual part(s) required have a major impact on how quickly Repaircare can obtain replacement part(s) and ultimately complete the repair. As the majority of kitchen appliances are actually manufactured abroad some brands still depend on parts being shipped in rather than stock them in the UK. This sometimes results in delays which are outside the control of Repaircare. If after a period of 6 weeks beginning from the first call out the required part(s) is / are still outstanding and the appliance is inoperable either party has the right to cancel the fixed price repair in which case you will be entitled to receive a full refund of the original fee paid. It should also be noted that once a specific appliance is no longer made the manufacturer will only retain replacement parts for a given period.

Monitoring A Repair

You can check the details of your booking and the progress of your repair at any time using the "Track Your Repair" facility within the fixed price repair website. Simply, enter your job number (as stated in your confirmation email) and your postcode.

Beyond Economical Repair

In the event that your appliance is deemed to be beyond economical repair & / or we are unable to obtain spare parts from our suppliers to repair the appliance we will refund you the original fixed price fee paid less a call out / administration charge of £45.00 (inc vat).

Guarantee Period

Repaircare guarantees each completed fixed price repair for 3 months from the date the job is finished.

Repaircare Service Delivery

Repaircare recognizes that due to the very nature of their fixed price repair and the high volumes of work undertaken they occasionally fail to meet their own high standards and expectations. Unfortunately, some of these problems are out of their direct control e.g. obtaining certain manufacturers parts which are not available in the UK and which have to be sourced from abroad. In addition to getting hold of technical information relating to the oldest or most unusual appliances.

If you have a complaint regarding your repair please email escalations@repaircare.net quoting your Job Number and giving a brief description of your grievance. Repaircare will respond within 2 working days.
